ALPOLIC®/fr LT - Mitsubishi Chemicals Corp.

Introducing ALPOLIC®/fr LT, the new lightweight champion of Aluminium Composite Material. This material is perfect for use on interior walls, columns, ceilings and partitions in shops offices and factories, and for light outdoor applications as soffits, awnings, parapets, signs and much more.

Material Composition

ALPOLIC®/fr LT is composed of a non combustible mineral core with a small amount of low-density polyethylene sandwiched between two skins of 0.3mm thick aluminium. The core, indispensable for fire safety of interior application, is Gray in colour, with a touch of carbon black for an aesthetically pleasing cut edge.

ALPOLIC®/fr LT's effective sides are finished with polyester coatings and covered with translucent protective films. The Reversible Series has effective surfaces front and back, while the Single, Stone, and Timber Series feature the effective surface on the front and a wash coating on the back.

DIBOND - Alucobond®

Dibond designed particularly for signs, fascias and the exhibition market provides creative freedom for professionals. These single or double-sided stove-lacquered (platinum white) aluminium composite panels are the ideal medium for creative ideas in architecture, industry, transport and display. Ordinary tools can be used to create three-dimensional shapes by folding or bending for CI programmes, roof edges, and mechanical engineering purposes or for vehicle superstructures or claddings, product presentations and displays.

Dibond is easily formed and yet extremely stable which makes it ideal for creating new and stunning stand concepts at trade fairs. Its excellent smooth surface enables precise screen printing and clean photo mounting and laminating. Owing to its low weight, combined with high rigidity and excellent weather resistance, Dibond is highly recommended for indoor and outdoor use.

Applications: - Long Term Interior and Exterior Signs, Routed Sign Faces, Sign Banding Kiosks / Carts Exhibit Constructions Architectural Signage Digital Printing.

At internal and low exposure situations, the use of a light version of Aluminium Composite Panel can be considered.

The products are essentially similar to 4mm and 6mm ACP but with reduced panel thickness. The thinner panel is more easily fabricated to complex shapes.

The use of light ACP is not necessarily cost effective where the use of 4mm regular panel is indicated by engineered design.
